INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR LONGITUDINAL BRACING SYSTEM

  1. See Figure (A) for proper number and placement of system units required.
    39" Tubes for 2-3 Block Piers
    44" Tubes for 4 Block Piers
    53" Tubes for 5 Block Piers
  2. Determine location of MMLBS (SD3 Pier Pad), center under home beam. See Figure (A).
  3. Determine proper size MMLBS (Longitudinal Brace Tube) required. Fasten Brace Tubes (2) to Pier Pad with bolts/nuts provided. Do not tighten. See Figure (B).
  4. Fasten Beam Clamp to Brace Tubes and Home Beam with the bolts/nuts provided. Do no tighten.
  5. With system completely assembled, make final adjustment of pier (concrete and or approved metal pier). Tighten ALL bolts/nuts at this time.

NOTE: Minute Man Anchors MMLBS LONGITUDINAL BRACING SYSTEM can be used in conjunction with proper ground anchors and stabilizer plates to resist Longitudinal Movement of the Home.

All ground anchors and tie-down straps, EXCEPT Longitudinal ties required by the home manufacturer or the State of Florida, must be installed for this system to function properly.
